Collection - Final

Here are the final photos for this project Collection. I stuck all of my stickers onto a white wall. I wish I had more stickers. It would look a lot better.
I decided that I would model for this photo shoot, and including Bella, a friend of mine, because her style is suited in this shoot too. Here are the final photographs.

For presentation this is how I displayed my work. I like how messy it looks. This is how my room looks like too.

I loved this project a lot, I just hoped that I have more time and materials to create 3D props and not just a backdrop. Hopefully I will be able to develop this project more and move away from 2D.

Collection

I was hanging out with my friends one night outside Sainsburys. I got really bored and I started doodling on a piece of rubbish that I picked up on the floor. I also burnt it a bit just to experiment, and to kill time. That took me less than 10 minutes to do.

Here are a few things that I took inspiration from.

My laptop

and my pencil case.

These are a few things I've 'customized' myself but never really took clear notice of it until my tutor suggested that it looks interesting, and that I should develop this image. So I decided that I should make a backdrop of a collage of giant stickers.

Here are some free-handed drawings and paintings that I did. These pieces are huge, I tried to finish them fast just by outlining it and shading them. However, it got really dull and I had to add in some colour. That took up most of my time.

I used acrylic paint and also markers.

These are the smaller scaled 'stickers' that I've drawn. I enlarged them and printed them off on printers.

Collection

We were told to bring in something that we collect. I've always been collecting stickers so I brought in a part of my sticker collection.

We had to create props and things based on what we brought in. I had a hard time creating these items because stickers are very graphical. However I managed to create something and here they are.

Moving along, I was able to create this thing using print out of my stickers. I think it will be interesting if this is made into a runway or just a set for photographs. This triggered the idea of making giant stickers, which can also look like posters at the same time, but a bit different I guess, because of the cutting and trimming around the graphic itself.

It will be a lot of fun creating this set, but materials are limited, and also the time.
