My Future Exhibition

Today we were told to make something to promote our own future exhibition in 2033. I thought of having an awesome graphics exhibition, but I was always struggling with having a fashion exhibition too. So I  did 2 versions. I got a few ideas and drew them out quickly, then chose one design to go for. I first did some colour matching and sketching in my sketchbook, figuring out the details like... the image, the font and what to write on it.
I've always loved MoMA museum so I went with it.
This is for my graphics exhibition. Personally I would love to show the style of my drawing to people who doesn't know me, and maybe, they'll be interested in seeing my work. So this piece is nothing deep, just straight on promoting my exhibition. I named it 'This is so weird.' because I say it all the time and I don't know why! I guess it also adds mystery to my exhibition...
I used markers and ink.

This is my another poster, possibly for my fashion exhibition. I went for a more simple but with a little bit of detailed drawing. I think for clothing, you can't have too much details, or they will just be too over powering, loosing its identity. So here I drew a gate, and it says Ophelia 2033. I tried to incorporate the style of clothing that I would make into the font. I've always loved making big dresses with bustles and corsets, with a darker interpretation. So again, in this poster, I'm applying the style of my work into this poster in another way other than clothing.

Overall I had a lot of fun, I've learnt a lot from classmates. Some of them have deep meanings in it, and they are really interesting. However, I prefer the way that I work here, posters have always been something that sells product and promote events to me.
